Residency in Mexico, handled by a lawyer who can also go to court when it goes wrong.
I handle residency, work permits, regularization and citizenship for foreigners, and I defend people facing deportation.
Most people come to me for one of three reasons
Your application was denied
Your permit expired
And you're now in Mexico without valid status.
You paid someone to handle it and nothing was done
If you're starting from zero and want it done properly the first time, that's the fourth reason, and the cheapest of the four.
What's going on
On paper, the requirements for residency in Mexico are not mysterious. In practice, the hard part is one most guides skip: getting the appointment. Everything else waits on it.
That bottleneck is why so many people end up paying a «facilitator» who promises a shortcut, and why so many of them reach me later with money gone and no application filed.
Temporary and permanent residency.
Residency through a family tie.
Work permits.
- Regularization, when your status has lapsed.
Mexican citizenship.
- Deportation defense. This is where it matters that your immigration lawyer is also a litigator. If you or someone close to you has been detained by immigration, call now.
How it works
- You tell me your situation: where you are, what status you have or had, and what has already been filed.
- In the consultation I tell you which route applies to you and exactly what it requires.
- I prepare and file, and deal with the immigration authority on your behalf.
Residency: about a month.
Citizenship: about six months.
Deportation: this is urgent work. A deportation proceeding can be stopped within days when it is acted on immediately.
What it costs
The consultation: US$100 · 45 minutes, by video call or in person.
Residency, work permits and citizenship: a fixed fee per procedure.
Deportation defense: quoted according to the stage the proceeding has reached.

Frequently asked questions
My application was denied. Is that the end?
Not necessarily. Bring the denial to the consultation.
My permit expired. Am I going to be deported?
Don't wait to find out. Regularization exists for this, and it is far easier to handle before there is a problem at an airport or a checkpoint.
I paid a facilitator and they disappeared.
Bring whatever proof of payment and messages you have. We look at where your application actually stands and get it filed properly.
Do I have to leave Mexico to do this?
No. The whole process can be done from inside Mexico.
